The North Carolina Rapid Response to Stroke project website.

This website offers an interactive online education program for EMS providers and 911 telecommunicators to improve stroke recognition and response in the prehospital environment. It is sponsored by a grant from the Duke Endowment and supported by the Department of Emergency Medicine at UNC-Chapel Hill, the School of Public Health at UNC-Chapel Hill, and Greensboro Area Health Education Center (AHEC).

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) has released a new evidence report summarizing available data on the effectiveness of various methods of treating hemorrhagic and ischemic stroke within 24 hours of onset of symptoms.
